Uluyayla was one of the places where we enjoyed camping very much on the Western Black Sea tour with a caravan. Uluyayla, which is half in Karabük and the other half in Bartın, spread over a seven-kilometer-long land surrounded by forests, impressed us with its remarkable natural beauty. Uluyayla camping area, which is very suitable for both caravan and tent camping, you can understand how active the wildlife is from the sounds you hear during the night. Therefore, it is useful to be careful while camping. If you happen to be in Bartın or Karabük, I recommend you to visit this plateau.

Let me inform you that it is easy to reach Uluyayla, one of the most beautiful plateaus of Bartın. Uluyayla, which is 59 km, 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Bartın, can be easily reached on the asphalt road up to a point. Although the last 3 kilometers of the forest road, which is entered after a point, is quite muddy, it can be easily exited here as long as there is no precipitation. In rainy weather, it can be difficult to get out with a passenger car.

Camping in Uluyayla

It is extremely enjoyable to camp on the plateau in spring and summer seasons when transportation is easy. But let's not go without saying that the taste of autumn is also different. Especially the colors of the trees, the coolness of the air and the smell of the forest fascinate people.

Although the camping area with howling over a huge area makes it a bit difficult to decide where to set up your tent, it is guaranteed that you will enjoy every corner of it.

If you don't have a problem with the cold, camping here can offer you a very different experience. In the region where wildlife is active, you can often hear the sounds of wild animals at night, if the sky is clear, you can watch the stars and even see the galaxy with the naked eye.

Uluyayla camping area, unfortunately, is a place where there is no facility. There are plateau houses on the side where the two entrances of the plateau are, but there are no services or facilities here. Therefore, do not forget to do all your shopping in the city center before coming here.
