Tourism Statistics
According to the statistics of 2020, there is a total bed capacity of 4,098 throughout the province of Karabük and the details are given below. There are one 4-star, 5 3-star, 1 2-star, 24 private facilities and 1 pension in the province. One of these facilities has the status of an environmentally friendly accommodation facility (124 rooms and 248 beds).

- There are 652 rooms and 1,294 beds in 29 facilities with tourism operation certificates.
- There are 413 rooms and 832 beds in 4 investment certified facilities.
Accommodation Statistics
There is an increasing momentum in tourism in the province every year. While the number of tourists staying in 2019 was 318,866 thousand people before the pandemic, this figure was 120,028 people in 2020 due to the Pandemic. The total number of overnight stays in Karabuk has increased by 259% from 2002 to 2019. The number of foreign overnight stays increased by 496% from 2002 to 2019. Considering the more meaningful data, pre-pandemic 2019 data, 28% of the total overnight stay consists of foreign tourists.

There are a total of 19 recreation areas, including Ortakçı Pond, Hanköy Martyrs Forest, Kaya, Bony, Merkez-İncedere and Şeker) and 2 D type urban forest recreation areas (Karabük and Safranbolu City Forest). 72% of the provincial area is covered with forests.
