Cinci Inn and Bath Safranbolu, Karabük
GO TO LOCATION

Cinci Inn: The most striking building as an inn in Safranbolu, located in the middle of the district center, is an important architectural structure, one of the works left by Sultan İbrahim's Anatolian Kazasker Cinci Hoca (Kazasker Hüseyin Efendi) to his hometown district. Made of cut and rubble stone, 17th century. The inn, which was built in the middle of the city, consists of two parts. Behind the two-storey porticoes that open to the courtyard in the middle, rooms are placed, while the barn section, which is passed through the courtyard, is placed in the south-west. The pool in the middle of the courtyard preserves its general appearance today. The entrance door, lock and key of the 2-storey 63-room Cinci Han, which was newly restored and put into service; It is an interesting example of Turkish ironwork.

Cinci Bath (New Bath): It is in the Bazaar in Çeşme Neighborhood in Safranbolu. It is known that this bath was built by Cinci Hoca. It was built in 1645 by Safranbolulu Cinci Hoca (Karabaşzade Hüseyin Efendi), who was a Kazasker during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim I, and there are two sections for men and women in the bath, which is still in service. Although it was expressed as a new bath among the people in the past, it is thought that it would be appropriate to express it as Cinci Hamam, considering that it was Cinci Hodja who built it and that it could be more catchy and attractive by tourists.
