Karagöl is a crater lake located in the Karagöl Neighborhood of Küçüksu Village, 35 kilometers from Karabük. It was formed by the accumulation of spring waters leaking from the environment by buffering the lake floor formed on the clayey ground. Karagöl is a lake of tectonic origin, formed by the clay unit blocks falling in a horizontal position due to the Karagöl Fault, forming the lake floor. The lake, surrounded by reeds, is arranged as a recreation area. There is also a viewing terrace and a cafe. There is a pier and a walking path in some parts of the lake.
