Made only in Karabük Yenice, Ceviz Halvası is a local halva. It is made for sale during the holidays. When you leave the city, you can buy boxes of this delicacy, which you can take as a gift to your spouse or friend.

You should try this local flavor prepared with sugar, water, lemon salt and egg white in Karabük.

Sugar is poured into a cauldron. A small amount of water is put into it and it is left for about 50 minutes. It is boiled. During boiling, melted lemon salt is added into it. The boiler is then lowered and left to cool. Meanwhile, the egg whites are whisked and added to the material in the cauldron. After the material comes to a consistency, walnut kernels prepared by taking the cauldron from the stove are added. And 3-5 min. It is mixed. Then flour is laid on a clean sheet and the material in the cauldron is emptied onto it. 30 min here. Halvah, which becomes solid after cooling, is put in boxes and ready for sale.
